When will my order ship?

Orders are shipped the next business day when received by 4:30 PM (MST).

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

All orders are shipped ground via UPS or FedEx, with shipping and handling charges prepaid and added to your invoice. Time-in-transit depends on your geographic location, but 3-7 business days is standard on domestic orders. For faster shipping, we do offer Next Day Air, Second Day Air, and Three Day Air service upon request.

What is the return policy?

Any item may be returned within 14 days of purchase for a refund, minus a 15% shipping and restocking fee. Please fill out our Return Authorization Form and include with your return. Any item that is not working properly and is still within a warranty period may be returned for an exchange. Please fill out our Return Authorization Form and include it with your return.

Upon receipt and satisfactory inspection of the product, Lifeloc will promptly issue a credit or refund, as appropriate, less the restocking fee.

The above policies apply to domestic orders only.

I live outside the U.S. can I still place an order?

If you live outside the U.S., you can still place an order but you will need to call or e-mail us directly. You will not be able to place an order via our online shopping cart. You can contact us at 303.434.9500 or e-mail for more information or instructions.

What approvals or testing has LifeGuard received?

LifeGuard® has been cleared by the FDA under section 510(k). It is approved by DOT/NHTSA as an alcohol screening device. This means that the unit has passed a series of tests and has shown to be accurate and precise. In addition to the above approvals, we have obtained a CE marking which certifies that we have met the safety and health testing requirements for the EU.

What does the warranty cover?

LifeGuard® comes with a one-year parts and labor warranty, effective on the date of purchase by the end-user. The Warranty covers parts, labor, repairs, and airfreight back to the customer after the unit is repaired (U.S. only). The Warranty does not cover freight to the Lifeloc factory, calibrations, or damage due to misuse, abuse, negligence, or accidents.

The warranty is not valid if the product was not purchased and paid for in full. Proof of purchase may be required to receive warranty work.
